Dogs (and cats)

Dogs are in the news because some Republican who isn’t worth a mention bragged about abusing and murdering her dog to sell books. Animal abuse is associated with child abuse and other violence against human beings. That’s not what I’m going to be writing about here.

I’m writing about people who love dogs—maybe too much—to their own detriment and the dogs' detriment.
